Last week I scored 50 in an average of 46, Brunt was my highest scorer with 13 and captain Aguero blanked. Team performed ok but Forster (7) & Chambers (5) stayed on the bench, foolish team selection by yours truly.

This week I needed to ditch Aguero and Giroud, both aren’t safe for me in their respective teams and face blanks soon. I was really frustrated watching Aguero last week and Giroud after Welbeck and Walcott coming back for me is a huge risk. No doubt Kun will be back soon, but how soon is something I’m unsure of.

In their places come Kane and Lukaku; great fixtures and form are the reasons why. My team picks itself with Chambers and Schlupp flagged, Randolph playing City and Morgan not a sure starter yet. Captain Kane because of him missing midweek and Sunderland having next to no defenders or form.

Good luck all! @FPLCHI

My wildcard team bombed, really hard. Selling players who went mad on points really hurt but I made my bed and have to sleep in it; or so they say. My team scored 53 in a week that averaged 56 with 12 points on my bench from two.

This week my team has had no transfers, despite the score last week my team is set up for more than one week so I’m not going to let that impact my thinking. Just hoping this week is better! Randolph gets the nod over Forster, without Fonte I can see the Foxes scoring. Brunt, Daniels and Baines all play as planned with the midfield picking itself. Morgan is first sub but when he starts playing he will most likely take the place of Stanislas.

Front three doesn’t change and captaincy is on Aguero. Despite rumours of unrest and a deeper positioning he has a great record against Spurs and is due a haul soon. Think Vertonghen missing will hurt and it’s a decent punt for me.
Good luck all 🙂 @FPLCHI

My GW21 Team (Wildcard special)

So this week I activated my wildcard, I know what you’re thinking but I have a good reason for it and I do believe that it is worth playing when is right for you and your team. I played mine for four reasons;

1. It has stopped me from taking at least a minus eight which I would have done this week.

2. It allows me to ditch a few players I wanted rid of like Cech, Evans, Alonso, Antonio, Barrow, Amat and Pickford.

3. It allowed me to jump on players I wanted that you will see below.

4. I’m impatient.

I did want to save it and plan around a DGW but, yeah. Here it is;

Let me in you through my plan, this team is set up for three gameweeks at a minimum pending form and January transfer window incomings.

GK: Forster has great fixtures and will play every one with Randolph a playing sub.

DEF: Baines, Brunt, Daniels, Schlupp and Chambers. The first four are attacking defenders wh will play most games and hopefully even if they concede will be attacking threats. All have great fixture or form, Schlupp on potential! Chadli on gut feeling and fixtures and Morgan/Stanislas on fixtures and potential as a rotational pair.

MID: Alli is in on form, can’t look past him. Ozil on fixtures and the thought he will be rested (downgrading Alexis let me keep Ibra).

FWD: Ibra & Aguero because they are must haves and on fixtures. Giroud on form and gut feeling.

*i really wanted Alexis, Hazard and Gray but you can’t have them all 😉

Good luck all!

The Christmas game week was a good one for me; well GW19 to be more specific. Despite my captain only getting an assist I scored 58 in a week that averaged 45 with returns from over half my squad and it saw Charlie Daniels (12) as my highest point scorer.

This week I really didn’t want to play Antonio and Carroll against United. Because I’d been planning this it was a nice and simple -4 to make two changes to my team. Out went Carroll/Eriksen & in came Aguero/Morrison. Despite Eriksen being a great player for my team since coming in he plays Chelsea, West Brom and Man City in his next three. I’m so happy to have Aguero back and despite Costa being so tempting I just couldn’t resist getting the little man back. Morrison has been ill and didn’t start the last game but I expect him to start against Hull. He gets returns more often than not when he plays and he has a great set of games coming up.

My team picked itself with Aguero as captain, I was tempted with Zlatan or Alexis again or even Yaya but Aguero could as he showed last season score five; at any time. If Alonso does miss the Spurs game Daniels is first sub. With Amat suspended and Barrow being Barrow I think that’s my best move this week. Also for the first time I line up with triple West Brom coverage! Good luck all.
